Estee Lauder Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer Review by jussayin "lostamerican" (Vienna, Austria)

I don't understand how this product can be so expensive... I bought it for a friend, so I really don't have any experience with the product itself and it probably doesn't help that I'm male and therefore don't really see the apeal in such things anyway, but that being said, I would wager you could find something similar and much more reasonably priced at your local walgreens.

What you think you're getting from this product is 99% just in your head. Your better off spending thirty bucks on something else, maybe one of those starbucks refillable gift cards...

Estee Lauder Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer Review by Daphne Gerig "apli" (Washington, DC)

I've been skeptical of concealers as they usually don't cover up well, or tend to crack or dry up. Not this one. This concealer goes on smoothly and blends in well, and does a great job of covering up without your face looking as if it were spackled. I've tried some over the counter concealers, and a couple of high-end ones, and this one is the best one I've found so far. Worth the money as you only need a small dot of creme, and it lasts all day. I have medium skin tone and use the Smooth Ivory color.

Estee Lauder Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer Review by L.D.

I have very sensitive skin with rosacea. My skin seems to react to everything especially make-up. I have tried many foundations and concealers (for dry skin, for oily skin, powders, creams, liquid foundations, high end, drugstore, natural/organic make-up, ...etc) with them all creating some form of irritation or breaking me out. Then I tried this Estee Lauder concealer for my under eye area, and I had no sensitivity or reactions; in fact I noticed that it actually helped to calm and heal some rosacea breakouts that I would sometimes get around my eye area and on my eye lids so I started using it as an eye shadow/primer also. I now use this concealer as my foundation for my whole face. I have noticed that it helps to calm my skin, healing any breakouts or irritation; it does not cause any skin eruptions, rashes, acne or rosacea/inflammatory bumps. It is truly the only make-up my skin has ever been able to tolerate in 20 years.

Bestway 57108US Reviews

Bestway 57108US Review by Mynyel

The pool is easy to set up especially if you have flat ground, which I did not have and had to use a flat shovel to remove grass and scrape/remove one side of the yard, because the yard is on a slight slope. Even after leveling the yard the pool still has at least 4 inches more of water on the one side. The difference in water depth from one side to other side is NOT a big issue, but only makes the pool look a little funny(not as circular around the top).

The pump takes 6 to 7 hours to filter for this 1800gallon pool, and if a lot of grass/dirt gets into the pool then the pump filter needs to be cleaned out with the hose after every pool use and even after, the pump still has difficulty filtering.

So I bought 1000 gallon per hour pump(Intex) for about 40 dollars and it works really good, only requiring 2hrs of filtering per day...if that.

Adding chemicals is another story and a good website for adding chemicals to a smaller pool is [...]
Pool Solutions webpage makes it easy and cheap.

Bestway 57108US Review by Sarah Clausen (Antioch, CA)

We used this pool for two months before it broke. When accessing the valve to add some more air to the top ring, the plastic around the valve ripped. There was no way to repair the rip, and without air in the top ring, the pool does not hold water. We are very disappointed in the quality of this pool.

Bestway 57108US Review by Arnold

I enjoyed the pool, but wished it was 48 inches high. Nice to cool off, easy to assemble, but must be maintained daily, which at times was difficult. The filters had to cleaned daily, and I felt they were much too small for the upkeep. Overall, it was nice for the one season we used it. We now have a summer home with an inground pool.

Vanguard QS-39 Report

Vanguard QS-39 Review by Nicholas J Shaw

I'll make this short - the QS-39 is supposed to be the replacement for the QS-38 so I bought it for my Tracker4 tripod. What I discovered is that, while it does work, it does not become as tight in the boot as the QS-38 and that can be a real problem if you accidentally hit the flip button that holds the tripod in the mount regardless of the tightning knob. Lastly, the QS-39 is a "coin" tightner, i.e. it does not have the attached finger tightner that you can lift to install/remove. Thus, I went out and purchased another QS-38. With the cost of my lenses, I can't afford to have one accidentally fall out of the tripod.

Vanguard QS-39 Review by Brad (Atlanta, GA USA)

I bought a Tracker 4 tripod and wanted an extra quick shoe. Contrary to another review that says this is too small and gets loose, it fits quite tightly for me. The heads it fits in have a "secondary safety lock for security" (quoting from the side of my tripod's box) which WILL keep it from falling out, but doesn't hold it tightly at all. There is a knob on the side of the head to lock it in tightly, and it works fine with that tightened.

The only difference between this one and the one that came with the tripod is that the main screw has a slot it slides in for adjustment of where the camera sits, and there is no locator pin. I also wish the main screw had the flip up piece for added torque instead of the coin slot, but it isn't a huge deal. I'll probably leave the quick shoe attached to the camera all the time anyway. That is the whole point of getting an extra one isn't it?

Vanguard QS-39 Review by larrymb

this quick shoe works with my 2 vanguard tracker tripods works great with even the heaviest spotting scopes can mount an remove from tripods in seconds

Customer Reviews

3" Presto Cheese Slicer Fixed Roller Cheese Plane by Heuck Review by Jack

The slicer is marked down from five stars because the picture isn't the same as the item. This isn't much of a problem but the picture makes it look like a higher quality cheese slicer than it is. Where the difference between the photo and the product exist is where the roller connects to the body/handle - it uses screws to keep the roller in place and the screw threads are visible in a gap between the roller and handle. Besides this, the slicer works great and appears that it will hold up very well. Also, the price can't be beat!

3" Presto Cheese Slicer Fixed Roller Cheese Plane by Heuck Review by mrognan

I got this one and the Bakertowne Thick and Thin Cheese slicer, and I actually liked the other one better. However, I'm pretty sure this one will hold up longer.

3" Presto Cheese Slicer Fixed Roller Cheese Plane by Heuck Review by OGM

My sister needed to replace her's after 44 years of use. I bought her one and then got another 14 for Christmas stocking stuffers. I have been using my own for 43 years. The new ones are just as good as my old one.

Goodbyn 20037 Review by Shannon Striegle "shanahan" (Michigan)

I purchased the Goodbyn for my son, who's 8. We try our best to reduce the amount of garbage we create and to recycle as much as possible. This was the reason for our purchase. I was excited about eliminating plastic baggies and juice boxes, but the Goodbyn hasn't entirely lived up to my expectations. The drink container enclosed pops open a little easier than I think it should which leads to a leaky mess. The bin itself won't keep "wet" foods separated well (like mandarin oranges, for example) which leads to another messy scenario. Additionally, the sections are really rather large for just lunch food. I can fit a whole bag of store bought baby carrots into the one bottom square section! Lastly, the Goodbyn needs washed after use and leaks and the stickers don't hold up well with the washings. I'm still using it in hopes that we'll get used to the quirks and continue to do a small part to clean up the environment, but overall, it's kind of a hassle. A few Gladware containers in a lunchbox would have served the same purpose for cheaper.

Goodbyn 20037 Review by Lisa Aube (Holly Springs, NC)

I ordered this with hopes that my future kindergartner could use it as his lunchbox at school. I want to cut down on all the plastic bag use. Unfortunately, even with much practice, he can not get the lid on tight enough that there would not be leaks coming back home. It is even hard for me to get a tight seal. However, I've decided that it is the perfect snack/meal tray for him when I'm shuttling around his brothers to various sports' practices and games.

Goodbyn 20037 Review by Drew

Recyclable and made out of recycled materials - Great

Tons of space for storing all different kinds of food (including a whole banana) - Better

Compact - Best

Lid won't stay on - Fail

The lid snaps on but is very loose. I gave it a quick stress test and the lid popped off with next to no pressure. Wouldn't trust this in a book bag without some straps or something else holding it shut. Bit of a shame, since it's an excellent product otherwise.
