Very nice, keeps the heat away from your body while sleeping, only problem, side corners slide somewhat and pull up, I needed to use corner tiedowns to keep in place. Others wise it's great....

I am a 55 year old woman, and have been a "hot sleeper" most of my life. It was always manageable, but got worse after I hit the mid-century mark. So I was very excited to try this mattress pad, thinking that if it did the job, my long-term dilemma would be finally resolved. I also ordered the Iso-Cool pillows.

I noticed that the padding was quite thick, and the spandex sides were very thin, but it went over my deep mattress very easily. I tried it for 2 nights only - both nights with the same results. Getting into bed, yes, it is very cool...in fact, wonderfully cool. But give it a short period of time, and not only does the coolness dissipate, but it actually seemed to start to heat up. I woke woke up both nights laying on what I thought was an incubator pad. Of course, I could try and move to a fresh, cool spot...but that was not the point of getting this. Also, the spandex sides don't really hold the pad in place well, so it was getting all bunched up with my bottom sheet. I was super bummed, and returned it.

On a positive note, the Iso-Cool pillows are decent. The cooling fabric is on one side, and the other is regular, giving you the option to flip to what you need. They don't stay cool though, all night long...but at least they don't seem to radiate the heat back. They also are shaped nicely, for a side sleeper.

The Isocool mattress pad/cover does exactly what it says it will do. I have a foam mattress and have tried all kinds of covers to try and keep from sweating all night. Since using the Isocool I have not been overheated one time! Thank you Isocool.
