Aroma arc-200 Review by first time
First time the rice was a little brown. After numerous attempts of adding extra water, still some parts of the rice was brown on the bottom and the other parts of the rice was mushy. Maybe because I cook about 2 -3 cups. Steamer is good. But burning the rice.....not a good thing. Even if it is cheaper in price. Not a great choice.

For the money, this device is worth it's weight in gold! A SUPER HERO of a rice cooker... it takes on the roles of three (3!) traditional small kitchen appliances: It's a Rice Cooker, a Crock Pot, AND a Steamer! No mild-mannered device here - this baby can take on the WILDEST wild rice you can find, and make it burst with flavor... of course I add a splash of veggie bullion, diced garlic, portobello mushrooms and black beans to mine. Spend 15 minutes prepping the food, set the timer, and come home from work to a great healthy meal to feed the entire family... if you can keep your teenagers away from it long enough to let it 'do it's thing'.
So while I'm loving this device, it's time to bid a fond farewell to three 'legacy' kitchen devices taking up space in my cabinets:
Caio old rice cooker with the worn off anti-stick coating - you were the reason I met the Aroma rice cooker in the first place...
Goodbye old Black & Decker steamer - you served us well, but I won't miss cleaning your many stacked parts...
Sayonara removable crock pot... You've all been replaced by the Aroma Rick Cooker & Food Steamer!
One pot to cook them all - I love doing combo 'rice cooking' on the bottom, AND simultaneous vegetable steaming in the top - with only two parts to deal with, and wash afterward!

Growing up I always used the stove top to cook rice but not anymore! The Aroma Rice Cooker is one of the best kitchen product I ever had the pleasure to use. With simple and clear instructions this cooker will allow anyone to make moist and delicious rice.
Have you ever worried about how long to cook brown rice? Now that worry is gone! Aroma rice cooker stops cooking when it knows the rice is done then it switches to a warm heat setting keeping it perfect until you are ready.
Clean up is a breeze as the bowl slides right out.
Please note: The rice cup is not the same as a "cup"
You must use the cup provided with the cooker.
