I purchased a Xikar cutter brand new a few weeks back. It sticks really badly on one side and has already damaged a few of my cigars. I sent the cutter in to be fixed and received back the same exact cutter with the same problem. This type of customer service is beyond unacceptable. I will not be purchasing another Xikar product ever again and would advise you to do the same. If you have problems don't expect Xikar and their "lifetime guarantee" to fix it.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the quality of this cutter after reading such great reviews about this and the other xikar cutters. It cuts fine, but the sliding knob that unlocks the blades keeps breaking and then they just stay open. It's not difficult to take apart and fix, but it's annoying that I have to do that every week. I gave it three stars because it does have great blades.
