I was really skeptical to buy this set mainly because it was shipping from Malaysia. I was expecting scratches, blemishes, something of that sort. I was pleasantly pleased to see there was none. I bought this along with the 4 chairs that were recommended. Words dont to this enough justice. This was really good for the price and even with shipping included was cheaper than comparable sets at local furniture stores. The main table only took less than 5 mins to install. The extra piece to make it longer, i didnt really use but I dont see that as taking much time either. The instructions leave a lot to be desired but honestly commonsense is all it takes to get it straight. I am really impressed.

I bought this table with the matching chairs (that are separate) and I love it. It's so pretty and looks fancy. it's also expandable. it was a hassle to out it together but it's a one time pain and then you have a dining table you can be proud of.

Delivery - Came in as scheduled, no damages. Not sure if Amazon deserves the credit or the courier.

Unpacking/Assembling - Easy to unpack, even with the usual styrofoam mess. Assembling was also easy, less than 1 hour. All pieces fit properly, the tool that came with the package worked fine, I used a screw driver just to make it easier/faster. Did not have to.

Overall Finish - I bumped the package on my way up to my 2nd floor apartment and I think it created a minor dent on the edge of the table, otherwise, it looked good.

Stability - I am planning to use the extension/leaf permanently, and I have not put the table to a full-blown dinner test. With heavy loads of utensils and plates, etc.. So far, i think it will work.

Upside - This is just the table, so it helps to see it before I order the chairs. You are not stuck with bad chairs.

Downside - This is just the table, so you can't use it on Day 1 because it does not come with chairs.

Overall - It is worth the money I paid for. I wish it was made in America though, just wishful thinking.
