The ice cubes themselves are great looking and I had no problem getting them out after running a little warm water over the back. I just dont know the reasoning for making the mold in silicone since its diificult to keep steady when filling and transferring to the freezer. You definitely need to place it on a plate or tray of some kind so you dont spill its contents, that of jello or water or whatever liquid you use. Anyway, I really like the end result, hence the 4 stars, and can live with the annoying nature of the silicone.

These are so cool! They turn out great and I can't wait to show them off. My only complaint is that they can be difficult to get out of the tray sometimes, but I've found it makes it a little easier if you remove all of the skulls, and then the crossbones. Other than that, great product!

The cubes themselves come out perfectly, in the exact shape advertised. A lot of novelty ice cube trays fail at that aspect, but these are genuine skulls and crossbones.
Only downside is that getting them out is a little difficult. I run the backside under hot water for ~10 seconds to loosen them up, then they slide right out. Thank god the tray is soft rather than hard plastic.
