We have had this table for almost a year now and just as I was cleaning up more spilled juice this morning I realized again how much I love this set! It is so durable, easy to clean and still looks great after a year. Non-washable crayon even came off pretty easily. It sits in the middle of our great room and the neutral tone doesn't make it stand out. My daughter is now 2-1/2 and still uses it daily to eat, read books or color. I don't see her outgrowing this for at least another year at her average size so I'm surprised by the comment that it's too small for an average kid. The handle on the top makes it easy for her to pull the chair out and the handles on the side make it very easy for me to push her in - such a great idea!

My daughter is going to school (preschool) and the children sit at little tables and chairs. We decided to use this table and chair for her meals and drawing. She loves her little table - she is eating almost completely independently. This table and chair has done a lot for her confidence - being a "big girl" (she is 18 mths).

Esthetically very nice and durable.

Chair sit is 6 inches and table is 12 inches high. Chair sit is very narrow. My son is 18 months old, normal height and it is too short for him even now. When he sits on the chair, his knees are higher than his bottom.
It is nicely made, but I will have to buy another table and chair pretty soon. If it is too short for 1.5 years old, it is definitely too short for the recommended 2-3 year old.
